Hotel Museu - Mertola

Great riverside spot. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The heated pool was perfect for the kids, and we enjoyed the snacks in the lounge during a rainy evening. Breakfast had good variety, always fresh, nice!

We appreciated staying in this hotel! It was a really nice stay by one night. The room was well-appointed and nicely furnished with a functional bathroom. The staff was all very friendly and extremely helpful. Food was LOCAL and their restaurant was very clean.

I found that the bed was too hard for my taste, which led to uncomfortable nights. I was disappointed by the limited beverage options. There was no coffee or tea available in the evening, which would have been a nice touch after a long day exploring. The amenities seemed quite basic. The toiletries provided felt cheap, failing to meet expectations for comfort and luxury.

Nice placed designer hotel with a amazing view to the river. Lovely rooms and excellent cleaning of the rooms.

Surprisening enough there bolconies to the rooms where you could sit an enjoy the river view. Breakfast is on the next door hotel, but after 3 days you got a bit feed up with same cheese, ham and jam every morning. No fruit, no youghurt, no other things than ham, cheese and jam.

Consider exploring the in-house museum to appreciate the unique archaeological context of the area. It's an enriching experience not to miss.

Staying here was quite the experience! We had a cozy suite with a tiny balcony overlooking the river—such a peaceful view at night. The archaeological site was pretty cool too, providing an interesting backdrop. However, it lacked a swimming pool, which was missed in the summer heat. I'd definitely come back again!
